Comparing rural and urban situations, materials, places and livng beings, with humour and poetry, the work tries to bring these too often disconnected worlds to understand each other better. One the same page, I gather two engraved pictures with intaglio on rhenalon, from my collection of everyday life photographs. Conceived as individual diptych, the layout of one image echoes the other. They can also be perceived as a series where I experimented and trained with the engraving technique. Each diptych has been printed in 3 to 5 copies.
