packaging collage

From collecting packaging for collages because of their colours and textures, I shifted to interpreting the stories they convey.

3 egg boxes bought in Edinburgh from different British producers composed in patched plots.

28 days after Christmas, no more chocolate left but their funny wrapping papers.

Leonidas chocolates’ golden box of wonders.

A calf fooling around (or defending itself) is not so far from becoming veal sold in supermarkets. Cream, cheddar, legs, bacon and breasts’ packaging used here come from British animals. Thanks to them!

9 pieces cut for 9 contributor countries to the Oatly’s recipe, mostly in the EU (the UK has no part in the production).

Overpacking: I had one of the most absurd moments removing those plastic films from candles, already stored in another cardboard packaging.

The packaging of a remedy sent by my mother from abroad; a memory of remote caring.
