mountains

I have been fascinated by mountains, their natural and slow strengths early in my creative studies and personal life with an upbringing including regular hikes in Pyrénées, Auvergne or the Alps. Mountains have become a recurring motif for my mind to indulge freely in some visual compositions around geological fractures. While conveying memories, tearing up papers for a collage or drawing fragmented and layered patterns can also be a cathartic process. This collection is conceived as a work-in-progress with a leisurely and meditative pace measuring itself to geological speed.
