fungi all around – lichen treasure hunt

A Treasure Hunt for Lichens at the Royal Botanic Garden. I based my workshop on the Lichen Safari trail proposed by RBGE and twisted it into a more sensory focused exploration of textures (shrubby, crusty, leafy), patterns and colours. We used photography and drawing to sharpen these moments of intimate observation. The event took part in a series of events proposed by RAFT, a Edinburgh College of Art’s research group.
