Daily encounters with fungi barely extend beyond chestnut mushrooms, found in standardised packs on supermarket shelves. This series required to spend some time to really look at this product, and reconsider this so-called mundane food by dissecting from the consumer’s end their ‘habitats’ and materialities. The process of drawing slows down this observation that goes on singularizing packs, mushrooms, slices and fibres and so on zooming in (or out potentially).
