Birds and humans inhabit the city differently. Above or below roofs. Exploring skies and rivers with different depths. Encounters in the same space are not always for the best. This A3 series recomposes some moments I observed or experienced myself with some feathered individuals. It uses collage to set the environment of the shore where inhabitants, either birds or humans both drawn with charcoal, thrive, endure or ignore each other. In this interspecies society, we may feel shyness, nurture, joy, fear, indifference, hunger, and curiosity.
It features an eider duck, a moorhen, a heron, Mallard ducks, a family of mute swans, a herring gull, feral pigeons and neighbouring humans.
